Our intention was to get up early and book a couple of event for the rest of the week. Didn't get a really early start, but after coffee and breakfast we did get our tickets to go to the Kennedy Space Centre tomorrow. Pick up at 7:45, about a 15 minute walk from here. This should be good fun and we are both space travel fans.
We headed off to check out "Old Town Kissimmee", and on the
way noticed that there are a lot of empty buildings, restaurant spaces and even hotels! Obviously the recession hit here a lot harder than back in Victoria. Old town isn't much to see, at least midweek in the daytime. We will be back on Saturday evening when we hear it is a jumping place.
Back to our resort for pool/hot tub time. Met folks from Ontario, Melbourne (Australia) and Romania. Warm sunny weather, cold beer, good company, this is ok.
